This is Jeff Searles, our General Manager/Vice President.
Jeff handles and oversees all the day-to-day operations of sales, marketing, service and manufacturing for Lakeshore Equipment. Not only that, but he works on growing the business in new and up-and-coming markets. And that whole “day-to-day” thing is what Jeff loves most about his job, because each day is different than the one before. He loves meeting new people, finding the right solutions, and creating outdoor environments customers can enjoy for a lifetime. Speaking of outdoor environments, Jeff is no stranger to those—he’s hiked the Appalachian Trail, the Superior Hiking Trail and the North Country Trail, and loves long trips in the woods (sleeping in a hammock, no less).
This is Jake Lammers, our Sales and Marketing Manager.
Jake handles Lakeshore Equipment’s online presence to the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. He does social media and online marketing … but he doesn’t just hide behind his computer. He also works with customers to make sure they get the right solution to their waterfront needs. Jake does site visits, lake bottom testing and consultations, then follows up with customized plans and quotes for products, delivery and installation. Jake is the first to say he loves his job - how could he not, considering he gets to help customers play on the water? When he’s not helping people enjoy the lake, he’s enjoying the outdoors—grilling, volunteering as a rescue diver and traveling.
Travis oversees every Lakeshore employee who is doing any sort of service work, on any of our aluminum or floating docks across Minneapolis and Minnesota, or any of our other pier and boat lift products. He makes sure each job is done correctly. On time. And to the customer’s satisfaction. Travis also trains employees and ensures that safety is priority—that’s the biggest thing. Another big thing, literally, is the barge Travis operates for moving lifts and dock sections that are in deeper water. Travis loves how every day and every job is different at Lakeshore, and surprises don’t scare him—he is quick to react and problem solve when an unknown challenge shows up. A couple facts about Travis—he says “c’mon” a lot. And he’ll drink a pop, no matter how warm it is. (Warm pop? C’mon, Travis.)
This is Terry Bahr, our Sales and Accounting Manager.
As you might expect, Terry’s job as Sales and Accounting Manager includes … well, sales. And accounting. And he’s equally amazing at both. He claims it’s because the people he works with do a great job. But we’ll say he does a great job on his own—you’ll have a hard time finding someone who works as hard as he does. When Terry’s not working, he’s watching NASCAR, The Vikings or The Gophers, or spending time outdoors on the golf course.
