Lake Independence. A guy by the name of Dave was just out and did some work for a Porta-Dock. Where this "Company X" had completely screwed up our boat lift and after being out 10 times they still didn’t have it installed properly. Couldn’t get them out or to take responsibility for anything. Dave looked at it and had it figured out in about 10 seconds, he knew what was wrong.  They had installed the wheels improperly and put dents and holes and what not in the frame. The reason for my call is that this Dave is probably the finest employee I have ever ran across, I didn’t even have to call this spring to get him out he just came out and took care of it. If I had 20 employees like him I would be a rich man. You have a good man on your hands and I wish I could steal him from you.

 Probably my worst experience has been dealing with "Company X"  and my best experience has been dealing with this Dave. Thanks for all your help on this.

I have to share with you my experience purchasing the ShoreMaster floating dock & PWC Lift from Terry Bahr at Lakeshore Equipment in Chanhassen. Even though we have never met, Terry’s direct salesmanship & professionalism enticed me out of paying in full prior to installation (he did not even request the full amount). You have to be extremely sharp to get me to break my #1 rule. I just did so without hesitation. He immediately won my trust with his knowledge, returning phone calls & good business sense. What heightened this experience is he delivered on time.

Thank you for recognizing your assets in your great staff. What a rarity these days.

VIP service is great! Steve: just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the VIP service that Lakeshore Equipment provided last autumn and this spring.

We returned from our winter in
Arizona on April 20, and called Rick/Service Dept. to re-install of the lift and dock. He asked me to call him back when we had our boat in the water to make the install of the boatlift cover easier and quicker.

I called him Tues. am that we had the boat in the water, and he arranged for contact by Dave to set up and install. Dave called within 15 min. and arrived 15 min. later to do the install. Dave with his two assistants went immediately to work, and in just over an hour, the installation was complete. Prior to putting the lift in the water, Dave had showed me where he had lubricated the cables and tightened/replaced a couple bolts last autumn.

I left before Dave and crew had finished the install, but
Kandy (my wife) said they were gone within a few min. after me. When I returned later in the afternoon, we jumped on the boat for our first trip around the lake while sipping our first glass of wine and checking our neighbor, a pair of bald eagles on their nest with at least one youngster sticking out its head and flapping the short little wings. Is this Livin The Dream, or what!

Be sure to use our names as a reference should you need any feedback from a current customer; or a potential one. We so appreciate your service when you sold us our lift, and later replaced it and the dock after a storm. But more important, providing us first rate service in the autumn and spring, (Dave has already arranged for our removal of the dock/lift this autumn).

Another note: when one of your sales people has a quiet day, give us a call. Maybe we could take him around
Twin Lake to introduce that person to others who could enjoy the “Lakeshore Equipment VIP Service”.

I’m working on the pictures still but will make that happen if it kills me! If you would like to add anything to my testimonial or have me do it please just ask…you folks were awesome to work with!

My testimonial, “I was frustrated after calling all around MN in a tough economy looking to get a quote for a new dock, very few called me back and those that did quoted me on a dock that wouldn’t fit our lake property. Finally, I called Lakeshore Equipment and experienced top notch customer service and professionalism from management on down from my very first conversation with Nickie. Nickie offered to stay past normal business hours so I could work a full day and drive over to meet her on my time.

My problem was this, the family cabin needed a new dock for a wedding 30 days away and was 5 hours North of Lakeshore Equipment. I had no idea how I was going to have them understand the layout of the water front and meet my families needs let alone help me get a dock 5 hours up the road and assembled but after one meeting with Nickie I understood I was in good hands and they were going to help me get it done on time with all questions answered along the way. Well, there was a huge wedding at the cabin this fall and our new Lakeshore Equipment Porta-Dock was the setting for some beautiful pictures…now all the cousins want to have a cabin wedding and grandpa is smiling because that more fishing with the kids!

Thank you Nickie, Steve, Erica and the entire Lakeshore Equipment team for helping my family/friends enjoy decades more of recreational fun at our new dock. The other dock needs to be replaced this spring. I am calling Lakeshore Equipment and would tell anybody else to do the same thing!

I walked the new dock yesterday and she looks beautiful. I can’t tell you how happy I am to finally have it in. Thanks again for the straight forward business and professional work you guys do. I will be in touch later this spring after the “big thaw” to schedule any adjustments we may need.
